Jude
Reno, Nevada (USA) has the nickname: "the Biggest Little
City in the World." Jude could apply be called: "the Biggest Little Book in the
New Testament."
It seems that there will always be crisis in the church. It
is not a new phenonomenon. Crisis has always been around and the church will
probably always be involved in some kind of crisis. The apostolic period,
usually believed to be the golden age of the church by the romantics had its
crisis, and serious crisis at that. Jude was written to solve a specific crisis
in a church in the first century. It still serves as a model today for simuliar
crisis in the church in the twenty-first centruy.
Below are some reference works to help you identify the
message of Jude.
